The Spotlight Performing Arts Festival is dedicated to providing young performers with valuable stage experience each year. This year, we are pleased to present The Sanctuary Stones, a mini musical specially created for young performers by renowned educators Nicholas Keyworth and Philip Jamieson. Participants aged 7–15 will develop their skills in movement, acting, singing, and prop-making through two interactive workshops held on the two Saturdays leading up to the Festival weekend. Their efforts will culminate in a public performance during the Festival, offering a meaningful and enriching experience.

• Workshop 1: Saturday 21 February 2026 (9.30-12.00) at Sivatel Bangkok (Phloen Chit)
• Workshop 2: Saturday 28 February 2026 (9.30-12.00) at Sivatel Bangkok (Phloen Chit)
• Dress Rehearsal & Public Performance: Sunday 8 March at the Bangkok Art and Culture Centre (BACC)

Calling for performers:
• Dryads: aged 7-11 years old
• Ravens: aged 11-15 years old (dancers and movers, very limited spots)

เทศกาล Spotlight Performing Arts Festival จัดขึ้นเพื่อสร้างโอกาสให้เยาวชนได้มีประสบการณ์การแสดงบนเวที โดยในปีนี้ละครเพลงสำหรับเยาวชนอย่างเป็นทางการ ได้แก่ The Sanctuary Stones ละครเพลงสั้นสำหรับเยาวชน ประพันธ์โดย Nicholas Keyworth และ Philip Jamieson เปิดรับนักแสดงอายุ 7-15 ปี ที่ไม่จำเป็นต้องมีประสบการณ์มาก่อน โดยผู้ร่วมกิจกรรมทุกคนจะได้ฝึกฝนการเคลื่อนไหว การแสดง การร้องเพลง และการทำอุปกรณ์ประกอบการแสดง ผ่านการทำเวิร์กชอป 2 ครั้ง ก่อนขึ้นแสดงจริงต่อสาธารณะบนเวทีหอศิลป์กรุงเทพ (BACC) ในวันอาทิตย์ที่ 8 มีนาคม 2569

Our Youth Musical Theatre Project has been running for the third consecutive year. The project aims to give young performers the opportunity to experience live stage performance while developing essential skills in listening, expression, teamwork, and thinking on their feet. Participants also gain valuable experience working alongside professional actors, conductors, and musicians. Each young performer receives the relevant lyrics, demos and backing track files for home practice, then refines their work through intensive workshops before presenting a public performance.

โครงการละครเพลงสำหรับเยาวชน จัดขึ้นต่อเนื่องเป็นปีที่ 3 เพื่อให้เยาวชนได้มีโอกาสสัมผัสประสบการณ์บนเวที ฝึกฝนทักษะการฟัง การแสดงออก การทำงานร่วมกันและแก้ไขปัญหาเฉพาะหน้า ตลอดจนการทำงานร่วมกับนักแสดง วาทยกรและนักดนตรีมืออาชีพ โดยเยาวชนทุกคนจะได้รับแจกโน้ตเพลงและไฟล์ backing track ให้ทำการฝึกซ้อมมาก่อนจากที่บ้าน ก่อนจะมาขัดเกลาในเวิร์กชอป และนำผลงานขึ้นแสดงต่อสาธารณะ

Building on our commitment to nurturing young talent at every age, we are delighted to introduce Clouds, designed as a gentle introduction to performing arts for our youngest participants. This short, enchanting performance is fully led by a professional actor and drama specialist, offering children aged 5–8 a supportive and nurturing first experience on stage. Young performers will participate through simple lines, engaging actions, and a short song, building confidence and joy in a relaxed, age-appropriate setting. This is the perfect opportunity for younger children to discover the magic of theatre in a welcoming environment.

สำหรับเยาวชนอายุน้อย ที่ไม่เคยมีประสบการณ์การแสดงมาก่อนเลย และต้องการทดลองเรียนรู้ทักษะเบื้องต้นในการขึ้นเวที เทศกาลเปิดรับเยาวชนอายุ 5-8 ขวบสำหรับละครเพลงเล็กจิ๋ว Clouds ซึ่งดัดแปลงมาจากละครที่ยาวกว่าเรื่อง The Story of the Great White Horse ให้ง่ายและสั้นลง อยู่ในเวลาการแสดงทั้งหมด 10 นาที โดยเยาวชนจะมีโอกาสออกแบบและตกแต่งหน้ากากม้าด้วยตนเอง ตลอดจนเข้าร่วมการแสดงผ่านบทพูดอย่างง่าย และจบด้วยการร้องเพลง โดยการแสดงทั้งหมดนำโดยอาจารย์สาขา drama มืออาชีพที่มีประสบการณ์การทำงานกับเยาวชน เพื่อสร้างความมั่นใจและความภาคภูมิใจ ปลูกฝังใจรักในการแสดงกับประสบการณ์ขึ้นเวทีครั้งแรก
