The Spotlight Performing Arts Festival is an annual event organized by Eduprogress, with support from Trinity College London. This festival is dedicated to fostering the performing arts in Thailand by offering a public platform for young artists to showcase their talents in Musical Theatre, Speech, Drama, and Acting before a live audience.

The 2024 festival featured the assessed activity Performers' Open Stage alongside a diverse array of performances in the Spotlight Showcase. Highlights included the Thailand premiere of the youth musical The Story of the Great White Horse, where participants explored prop-making, singing, miming, and musical movement. Additionally, participants engaged in enriching workshops to learn the effective use of voice, expressive movements, as well as enhancing song performances through character development. The event brought together over 80 talented young performers from across Thailand, celebrating creativity and artistic expression.

Spotlight Performing Arts Festival จัดขึ้นโดยบริษัทเอดูโพรเกรสจำกัด ด้วยการสนับสนุนจาก Trinity College London สหราชอาณาจักร เป็นกิจกรรมสำหรับเยาวชนในประเทศไทยที่มีความสนใจศิลปะการแสดง ได้แก่สาขา Musical Theatre, Speech, Drama และ Acting ที่ต้องการสรรหาประสบการณ์การแสดงเพิ่มเติมนอกเหนือจากการเรียนการสอนทั่วไป

เทศกาลปี 2024 ที่ผ่านมา ประกอบด้วยกิจกรรม Performers’ Open Stage ที่เปิดโอกาสให้นักแสดงเดี่ยวและคู่ได้มีโอกาสแสดงฝีมือบนเวที และได้รับเหรียญรางวัลตลอดจนคำแนะนำที่มีประโยชน์จากกรรมการ กิจกรรม Spotlight Showcase สำหรับนักแสดงกลุ่ม ซึ่งรวมถึงการแสดงละครเวทีสำหรับเยาวชน The Story of the Great White Horse รอบปฐมทัศน์ ซึ่งเปิดโอกาสให้เยาวชนอายุ 7-11 ปีได้ฝึกฝนการทำอุปกรณ์ประกอบการแสดง การร้องเพลง การแสดงบทบาทสมมติ และการเคลื่อนไหวในเสียงดนตรี ในเทศกาลยังมีกิจกรรมเวิร์คชอปสำหรับเยาวชนและผู้สนใจทั่วไปอีก 3 เวิร์คชอปด้วยกัน โดยเยาวชนที่เข้าร่วมได้ฝีกฝนการใช้เสียง การใช้การเคลื่อนไหวร่างกายเพื่อสื่อความหมาย รวมทั้งการร้องเพลงผ่านการเข้าสู่ตัวละคร โดยกิจกรรมทั้งหมดมีจุดประสงค์เป็นเป้าหมายทางการแสดง สร้างแรงกระตุ้นการฝึกซ้อม ตลอดจนฝึกฝนความมั่นใจและความกล้าแสดงออกในที่สาธารณะ รวมทั้งสร้างโอกาสให้นักแสดงรุ่นเยาว์ได้มีโอกาสพบปะ รับชมและได้รับแรงบันดาลใจกับเยาวชนคนอื่นที่มีความสนใจเดียวกัน

The Spotlight Performing Arts Festival 2025 is scheduled for March 22-23 2025 at the Bangkok Art & Culture Centre. Applications open from 15 January - 15 February 2025.

เทศกาล Spotlight Performing Arts Festival 2025 มีกำหนดจัดระหว่าง 22-23 มีนาคม 2025 ณ หอศิลป์กรุงเทพ (Bangkok Art & Culture Centre - BACC) โดยเปิดรับสมัครเยาวชนและผู้สนใจเข้าร่วมกิจกรรมระหว่างวันที่ 15 มกราคม - 15 กุมภาพันธ์ 2025
