Founded in 1872, Trinity College of Music (TCM), under the patron of HRH The Duke of Kent, KG, has had a distinguished history, and now enjoys an established reputation as one of the foremost conservatoires in Britain.
Growing from TCM, Trinity College London (TCL) has been established to operate and develop the Colleges extensive program of external examinations in music, speech and drama and language. The standards demanded by TCL examinations in more than 50 countries throughout the world are the same and are understood and respected in all the countries where these examinations are conducted. Mr. Mark Stringer, Director of Music, Drama & Speech Examinations, stated, "Trinity is keen to develop its base in Thailand and to provide support networks for teachers entering candidates for Trinity examinations. This support will take the form of masterclasses and workshops for both the practical and written examinations."
