Practical lessons  rmi_classroom_2.jpg

Our lessons are set on an individual basis. On the first day of the meeting, you will be asked to play (or sing) to the Head of Pop/Rock Music Department for an assessment of your playing (or singing). He will then place you with an appropriate member of our teaching staff. Our curriculum is based on 4 levels of studies: guitarlesson.jpg
  • Entry Zone (starting)
  • Player Zone (beginning)
  • Performer Zone (intermediate)
  • Pro Zone (advanced).

Tuition is usually available on any day of the week except Monday and public holidays, when the school is closed.

Interactive Musical Computer Programmes

Musicianship is the other crucial skills that help you become a good musician. In order for you to understand music more thoroughly, we have a special training programme, "GLORY, The Music Lab", which is divided into courses from the initial grade up to Grade 8. The curriculum is based on more than 20 of the mostly successful interactive musical computer programmes in the U.S. Your teacher will assign you to take such lessons according to the level of advancement.

In-house gigs are set twice a year. The aims of the concert are for the students to experience the on-stage performance, to gain more of their self-confidence, and also for the heads of music department to assess the progress of the students before deciding to enter the students for the Rockschool music examinations.

School's Collections

w_rmi_books.jpgWe believe that a good collection of books, scores, and other medias, such as CDs, VDOs, DVDs, etc., is a must for the benefits to our students and teachers. With such a library set up, students will be able to listen to the songs hardly found in the music shops nowadays, to read about the music of their interests, or to watch the available recorded concerts of their favourite artists, and to practice with our tailored-made MIDI backing-track CDs which contain the selected world class tunes. After that, it's time to get into our fully equipped practice room and play with the members of the in-house rock band.

Practice Room and Recording Studio   record1.jpg

practice-recording_studio.jpgA real progress can be achieved only by practicing in the form of ensembles with the others. Our practice room is set with relevant musical instruments and equipment. Next to it, a home-recording studio is ready to pick up all the sounds and produce a Demo for any tune.
