Welcome to Rock Music Institute. Please let us introduce you to our contemporary pop/rock music programmes.
General Introduction
Our programme covers practical lessons acoustic guitar, electric guitar, electric bass, drums, piano and keyboards as well as vocals. Our aim is to firstly introduce our students to various styles of contemporary pop music: blues, rock 'n roll, soul, folk & country rock, hard rock, heavy metal (neo-classical, speed & thrash, grunge, alternative metal), funk, jazz-rock, etc., in order for them to know and academically appreciate different aspects of each musical styles and perhaps they will discover what music they really want to listen to as well as enjoy playing it.
   
Our school also offers instruction in theory and background musical knowledge, workshops, seminars and special training courses. We have also been collaborating with Rockschool (UK) , the international examinations board for contemporary pop music. Each year, examiner will be sent directly from the UK's head office to conduct the examinations in Thailand taking place normally around the end of the year. A certificate will be given to candidates who achieve pass, merit, or distinction mark in accordance with the type of the examinations.
